Median price was $265K, average days on market was 103, total annual dollar volume was approximately $189 million. During the period 1/1/2007-12/31/2007 there were 543 transactions: median price was $280K, average days on market was 98, and dollar volume was approximately $165 million. Year to date in 2008: there are 408 transactions, median price is $260K, average days on market is 112, dolllar volume is $118 million. Number of transactions per month, on average, was 54 in ’06, 45 in ’07 and is 37 in ’08 through end of November.

December 2, 2008Nov. 19-21 the Greenbuild conference (http://www.greenbuildexpo.org/newsletters/2008-07.html) took place in Boston. Highlights, for me, included Desmond Tutu keynote address, talking up Strandwoven Timber (http://sustainableflooring.com/index.php?index=strandwoven), witnessing school districts domestically and internationally adopt green products and techniques to improve livability and health security for children, and seeing sustainability continue to be adopted into hospitality/hotel industry. This is the 4th Greenbuild I’ve attended; there were approv. 34,000 attendees/exhibitors/speakers. It is overwhelmingly large.
